In order to adapt to the coil processing technology, the automatic winding machine needs to be equipped with spindle speed regulation function. The winding equipment should be different in processing type and configuration. The familiar spindle motor types include AC motor, DC motor and servo drive motor. The speed regulation methods used by these motors have their own characteristics.

First, the speed regulation mode of AC motor: This kind of motor itself has no speed regulation function, it needs to realize speed regulation function through electromagnetic speed regulation device or adding frequency converter. In winding equipment, we often use frequency converter speed regulation mode. The motor has speed regulation function by controlling frequency converter through the control system of winding equipment, which also has a certain energy-saving effect.

2. Speed regulation mode of DC motor: DC motor needs to convert the supply power into DC power to drive the motor, so DC motor is equipped with DC speed regulating board or brushless driver to drive and control the motor. Because of the small size of the motor, it is widely used in small winding equipment.

3. Speed regulation mode of servo drive motor: It belongs to precise moving parts suitable for high-precision winding equipment, and realizes closed-loop operation control by matching with special driver. The greatest characteristic of this kind of motor is constant torque and closed-loop operation, which is used to meet the processing requirements of high-precision coils.
